Month: November 2004

  • Drift event

    Locations: Buttonwillow, California

    Time: Nov 26

Arrived the Night before the event, rent a room for 5 hours of sleep.

Surprise! Another wet drift day. Stupid weather channel said it will be sunny...

OK after a round of warm up donuts in the skidpad area, my brakes stop working. Problem: hardline cracked from rubbing against the mout. BAD LUCK

Luckily, Furuk came to rescue along with help from Frank- Racetune, Jason and tool support from Lawrence. Tempary fix, Furuk's ghetto style but the car is running!!! Time to get fired up and hit the track.

Haha lawrence took one pic while I was going straight, I guess he couldn't really hold the camera while I was turning =P.

Damn I never knew I was good at photo taking.  Dirty Z and grip monster STI.

My car without the greddy lip, things "crack" on the track so I took. Gonna love Ziptie.

Now my dirty 240 next to the dirty Z. You should see the interior, looks like someone dump FIVE buckets of sand into the car. Damn Shouldn't have drove with windows open.

Lawrence with his overheating SR and tool box

    Conclusion:

Thank you everyone for helping me fix the brakeline. That was a good drift event. I had a lot fun and learned a lot.

  •          Hmm installed my Silkroad coilovers yesterday. Hmm first impression around the bumpy SaN Francisco block is NICE! . With the spring rate on 3rd from the softest, it feels a little too much roll for my taste. Well, I can't really swing the rear end out as much as I can with my HKS, but the ride quality has dramatically improved I guess It's called "silkroad" for a good reason. Now my female rider won't complain anymore, well they never complained but I know it's implied when they say, "Ah!" LOL
