Just came back from JustDrift drift event at Willowspring raceway. Didn't do too good.
Front tires are bald, so no traction in the front for me. A shitload of understeer that I had to deal with. Saw a lot professional D1 drifters there practicing. To name a few, JIC s15, Falken mustang, AE86 , Cfire, many more. The track is setup for high-power cars. All the N/A were having problem doing the long swappers. I did poorly, I hate 3rd gear drifting in my car. One mistake, and you are done. There is no recovering from a mistake in a 3rd gear with my low power car. Engine is acting weird, whenever I redline, it would making a squeeking noise. I think it's either the belt or the chain. Guess I really need this new engine and power improvement. It really makes me depressed looking at those 450hp, full suspension, well tuned D1 cars hitting the course perfectly while I have struggle to keep away from understeering in the slanted highspeed turns. You really feel out gunned both equipment and skill wise. Not really fair isn't it? Yep life isn't fair, I learn that a long time ago.
hehe s15 with an uncovered rear...
ghetto ass understeering
Love it when you can finally get it swinging at highspeed S turns.
Me
The big dogs battling it out.
More actions.
Thanks Balmo from Private Tuning Hands for pictures.

DriftDay 24, HOT HOT HOT... I was getting BAKED in the helmet under 90 degree socal sun with no A/C=
Car is having a lot of understeer even with the Falken Azenis Sport in the front and running -2 degree camber. Talked to Taka Aono, a professional D1 drifter, he suggested me to run -3.5 degree camber in the front and mess around with tire pressure to get the handling tuned right. Right now, I really have to toss the car a lot to get it loose or else I have to ebrake and clutch in. Good thing is I am hitting the course pretty well. In the last few runs, I was hitting the lines, angle, and speed perfectly. Probably in another DriftDay or two I can trail for DriftDay Advance
.
Car Engine is getting a rebuild. Fully forged racing piston, rods, new studs, all gasket seals replaced. 3 angle head port and polish, new valve, spring. Turbo the KA with boostdesign turbo kit. Probably gonna stay with 7psi for a year and then upgrade the turbo from a Super T3 to a T3/T4oe and run at somewhere around 350-400rwhp. Project D-Club is finally started.

New speaker, deck, and amp is going in soon. Waiting for my Amp to show up. I was gonna put in 2x 12's subs but decide not to. There are just too many Cons as oppose to Pros.
Pros: loud, cool music
Cons: Neighbor(yes we got uncool neights who complains about bass all the time), Expensive($700 for 2x subs and a sub amp), no trunk space anymore, extra weight(like 100LB more).
I will fire up some pics soon.

You see I don't have a religion so I took a test... Result... not really helpful. 100 % agnosticism and 80% satanism... WOW...
You are an agnostic. Though it is generally taken that agnostics neither believe nor disbelieve in God, it is possible to be a theist or atheist in addition to an agnostic. Agnostics don't believe it is possible to prove the existence of God (nor lack thereof). Agnosticism is a philosophy that God's existence cannot be proven. Some say it is possible to be agnostic and follow a religion; however, one cannot be a devout believer if he or she does not truly believe.
