  • It's almost 10pm. Friday night. Bored to death. STupid one earphone died on me today. ANother $50 bucks down the drain. I am very picky about the kind earphone I use, I got have the comfortable feeling of those deep earplug type. sony MDR-ex71sl is the only type I get. Went to the Nissan Dealer at Garnet AVE today, spend almost $100 on clutch slave, and master cylinder, hardline and stuff.  I think I am just gonna return them and do a SR engine swap instead changing out all the master, slave cylinder and get a clutch kit which probably going to end up around $500 for everything. Damn I got stop spending money. I am really trying to cut back on spending but somehow it's not doing it. 1000 a month is so not enough to live in SD, gonna need to find a job or something.

  • DDC- Jan 16 at california speedway....

BAD Bad day. Start off, I got No. 13 as my car number... Omg such bad curse right there. Then I got into trouble with my damn tires. The sidewalls are too thick and soft. And my clutch start to slip, next thing I know my brake hardline are leaking like a baby with a bad leakage. All the bad things happened at the same time!!!

Anyhow, I had fun thou, surprised by how many girl drifters there are in Socal. Mad props to socal girls, I love socal =D.

  • Hows SD? I get that question like a lot lately... so here is the answer.

Good but not THAT GOOD. I mean it's cool that it's a lot nicer and cleaner, but maybe cause I haven't got to know places yet or cause school just started but it seems like a bit low-profile, if you know what I mean. Not much going on right now, there are nice streets but cops are all over the place... and the closest mountain is like an hour away... SUCKS BIG TIME on that!! I need some night life here. Where is the damn parties at??

  • Drift event

    Locations: Buttonwillow, California

    Time: Nov 26

Arrived the Night before the event, rent a room for 5 hours of sleep.

Surprise! Another wet drift day. Stupid weather channel said it will be sunny...

OK after a round of warm up donuts in the skidpad area, my brakes stop working. Problem: hardline cracked from rubbing against the mout. BAD LUCK

Luckily, Furuk came to rescue along with help from Frank- Racetune, Jason and tool support from Lawrence. Tempary fix, Furuk's ghetto style but the car is running!!! Time to get fired up and hit the track.

Haha lawrence took one pic while I was going straight, I guess he couldn't really hold the camera while I was turning =P.

Damn I never knew I was good at photo taking.  Dirty Z and grip monster STI.

My car without the greddy lip, things "crack" on the track so I took. Gonna love Ziptie.

Now my dirty 240 next to the dirty Z. You should see the interior, looks like someone dump FIVE buckets of sand into the car. Damn Shouldn't have drove with windows open.

Lawrence with his overheating SR and tool box

    Conclusion:

Thank you everyone for helping me fix the brakeline. That was a good drift event. I had a lot fun and learned a lot.

  •          Hmm installed my Silkroad coilovers yesterday. Hmm first impression around the bumpy SaN Francisco block is NICE! . With the spring rate on 3rd from the softest, it feels a little too much roll for my taste. Well, I can't really swing the rear end out as much as I can with my HKS, but the ride quality has dramatically improved I guess It's called "silkroad" for a good reason. Now my female rider won't complain anymore, well they never complained but I know it's implied when they say, "Ah!" LOL

  • Wooahh. Lots of rain on saturday. Had so much trouble with understeer. Weird how my other friends who happens to have vlsd also are having understeer problem. I have learned a lot about weight transition. Such as shifting the weight of the car to the front by braking so the front wheel can get traction then you try to kickout the rear end. Damn I want a 2 way diff. So much easier to drift with a 2 way diff but it's $900!!. I am gonna go get an alignment too so I can run negative camber in the front to get more tractions.  Then a better steering wheel and a spin knob.

It became dry around Noon to 3pm ish. That's when the fun started for me, vLSD finally start locking and car started going sideways . All in all it was fun and really helpful in terms of learning my car in the rain.
